Construction of a new 4.8-million-dollar public school in Cramahe township will begin this spring.
The Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board has announced the new facility, in Castleton, will consolidate students from the current Castleton and South Cramahe Elementary Schools.
The school will be built on the site of the present Castleton Public School, and the two other schools will close when it is completed.
