The funding is in place for the completion of the new Marsh Boardwalk in Presquile Park.
MPP Lou Rinaldi presented a cheque for over 48 thousand dollars today (yesterday) to the Friends of Presquile, the volunteer organization spearheading the project.
The provincial government has granted nearly 100 thousand dollars in total to the 300 thousand dollar job. Much of the money was fund raised from the community. It’s hoped the boardwalk will be complete by spring or early summer.
