Wait times for important medical procedures are generally decreasing in this part of the province.
The Southeast Local Health Integration Network board of directors heard of a significant shortening of wait times for cancer and knee surgery. Wait times for MRI’s also decreased, from 105 days in September, to 83 days in October.
The SouthEast LHIN takes in an area from Brighton to Prescott, and north to Perth and Smith Falls.
