Still no sign of work on the six-million dollar casino proposed for Bell Boulevard in Belleville more than two years ago. The city’s chief building official Ted Marecak says he’s ready to issue a building permit for the casino which will house about 200-slot machines. Maracek says the city has reviewed and commented on building code issues for the 35-thousand square foot building and sent those papers back to the company for signature. Also the site plan agreement went back to the company more than two weeks ago for signature. Baymount officials have not been available for comment.
