Police arrested a couple of aggressive women in Belleville yesterday, including an alleged prostitute in the downtown. The 23-year old woman was charged under the safe streets act for soliciting sex in an aggressive manner on Front Street. And, a 27 year old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with assault and mischief after a couple became involved in an argument. Police say during the altercation, the woman bit the victim on the arm and continued to hit and kick him. The accused was held in custody to await a bail hearing.
