Shopper’s Drug Mart wants to open a new store in Picton.
It has applied for rezoning for a new 17-thousand square foot building at the corner of Main and Washburn streets.
The site now houses several homes and businesses, which would have to be demolished.
The rezoning will go to the Prince Edward County Planning Committee’s next meeting on January 28th.
