A Marmora man has been charged with trying to grab an envelope of money from a businesswoman in Marmora.
The woman was about to make a deposit at an A-T-M at the T-D Canada Trust on Wednesday night, when a man attempted to pull the envelope from her hands.
The woman screamed, and the man fled empty-handed.
Central Hastings O-P-P arrested a 25-year-old man during a vehicle stop on Stirling-Marmora Road, south of Marmora, late last night, and he was charged with robbery with intent and disguise with intent.
No name was released.
