Drugs and other items have been seized from a prison cell by staff at Bath Institution, southeast of Napanee.
Correctional Service Canada says the institutional value of the narcotics, prescription medication, tobacco and cell phone found yesterday is 15-thousand dollars.
The Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad and C-S-C are conducting separate investigations, and the operations at Bath weren’t affected.
