A 50-thousand-dollar contract has been awarded to prepare a Creative Rural Economy Strategic Plan for Prince Edward County.
Economic Development Officer Dan Taylor says Millier-Dickinson-Blais Consultants, with offices in Toronto, Hamilton and Harrowsmith, was chosen from three submissions.
He says the plan is in addition to strategic work already done over the past five years, and will attract more investment, creativity and human innovation.
It will be presented to county officials once it is finished in April or May.
