Fire has caused seventy-thousand dollars damage to a garage and a house in Brighton.
Firefighters responded shortly after nine o’clock last night after getting a call to 71 Bayshore Road, and found the garage fully engulfed in flames.
They had the blaze under control quickly, but damage totalled 40-thousand to the garage, with 30-thousand dollars smoke damage to the adjoining house.
Everyone inside got out safely.
The cause has tentatively been listed as a candle left burning or a cigarette, and the investigation will continue
