It was anything but a quiet Sunday for Quinte West O-P-P.
Offficers went to an address on Old Highway two in Sidney yesterday morning after a young man, armed with a knife, threatened to injure himself.
The man, whose name wasn’t released, was charged with weapons dangerous.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic assault during the noon hour after an incident at a home in Glen Miller, and there was another domestic at one o’clock in the afternoon in Carrying Place, but no charges were laid.
Officers and paramedics also helped a 35-year-old man taken from the Batawa Ski Hill in serious condition, but the cause of his injuries isn’t yet available, and the police also took a woman to hospital after she was found lying, in pain, outside of her car.
