Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis says despite a global recession in 2008….the City hasn’t only survived….it’s thrived. Ellis told the crowd at the New Years Day levee at City Hall that the city is in final negotiations with an industry that is expected to create 400 new jobs by 2010….adding more information and an official announcement from the company will be coming early in the new year. The Mayor also pointed out ANR Foods production facility is now complete and will start operating early this year. He says the City is also starting to reep the benefits of investing in its Doctor Recruitment program with three new Doctors startinmg in ’08 and another seven will start practicing this year.
