Two Prince Edward County artists have been chosen to represent this area at a big art show in Toronto.
Tara Wilkinson of Bloomfield, and Florence Chik-Lau of Carrying Place will represent Prince Edward Lennox and Addington at the 2009 “One of a Kind” show.
Tara Wilkinson creates fibre art nests, while Florence Chik-Lau is a ceramic sculptor.
Their work will be part of the Eastern Ontario Artists Marketplace in the spring-time show. The federal government has invested 125 thousand dollars through the Eastern Ontario Development Program.
