A Port Hope woman killed in a car/truck accident on the 401 westbound near Port Hope this morning(yesterday morning).
The driver of the car, 27 year old Emma Hardie was killed after her car entered the 401 out of control after being on a snow covered ramp. A westbound truck hit the driver’s side of the car. A 28 year old male passenger in the car was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while a 1 year old infant, who was secured in a child seat, is in hospital for observation. The driver of the truck was not injured. The highway is now open to traffic.
