The lawsuit, served by Ottawa lawyer Steven Reynolds in Belleville Superior Court on behalf of “concerned members of the Mohawk Community of Tyendinaga,” names Build All Contractors, Loyalist Asphalt, The Band Council and the Ontario and Federal Governments.
Reynolds says a growing number of Tyendinaga residents are upset about what they claim is pollution and noise coming from the Build All quarry and the plant.
Some Tyendinaga residents who occupied the Build All Gravel pit for a few days earlier this fall left after the equipment was removed, but the equipment apparently was returned a short time later..
