Prince Edward County’s Chief Administrative Officer isn’t saying much about a closed meeting on the potential site of the new Wellington Community Centre.
Richard Shannon says council and staff met in caucus last night for an update on buying land on Belleville Street for the facility, which could cost 12-million dollars.
However, he wouldn’t give details of the discussion, or the status of negotiations with the property owner.
Part of the property is already owned by the county, and the rest is privately owned.
