A relatively new industry in Quinte is donating to a food program for needy students in the area.
Kellogg’s of Belleville will present a cheque for 10 thousand dollars to the Food for Learning program tomorrow(today) at Queen Victoria School.
Food for Learning offers breakfast, snacks, or lunch, to students who aren’t getting enough nutrition elsewhere.
This year alone, the program is providing some 450 thousand meals to over 9 thousand students in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
