A Belleville man and nine other peace activisits have been convicted of traspassing at a Burlington company that produces military weaponry.
The ten, including 61-year-old David Milne, were in court yesterday on charges laid by police at L-3 Wescam in November, 2006.
They claimed they were justified in trespassing on the company’s property because it was producing guidance systems for missiles used in Afghanistan and Iraq, and Milne said “God compelled him to do it.”
All the protestors were given suspended sentences and were placed on probation for one year.
