A combinatino of bad weather and alcohol seem to be the reason of a crash at College Street East and Prince of Wales Drive early this morning.
Belleville police say the suspect, who hit a utility pole, fled the scene, and was located a short distance away.
The 23 year old Cobourg man is charged with driving while impaired, operation over 80 miligrams, and failing to remain.
He’ll appear in court in January and has had his license suspended for 90 days.
