Weapons charges laid against a 19-year old Frankford man in connection with the gunpoint attempted robbery of a paperboy in Belleville have been withdrawn. and, now a 16-year old boy faces charges in connection with the incident…as well as another gun related scare in the downtown on Wednesday. City Police say all charges against Joshua French have been dropped. He was charged after the 12-year old had a gun pointed at his chest by a suspect demanding a free paper. Shortly after that two boys at the Coleman Street footbridge had a gun pointed at them by a suspect on roller blades. The 16-year old, who can’t be identifed, is facing numerous weapons charges at a bail hearing today. A realistic looking BB-pellet gun has been seized.
