A Belleville man has been sentenced for killing a dog in Bayside.
Thirty-six-year-old William Gardiner was charged by Quinte West O-P-P with cruelty to animals after the dog was found dead, and another dog in poor condition was rescued, at a home on Bayview Drive on July 22nd.
He pleaded guilty at his pretrial in Belleville court, and was given a conditional discharge.
Gardiner was also put on probation for one year, and was ordered to pay 300 dollars restitution.
