Northumberland O-P-P have charged two boys caught red-handed at a house they broke into in Colborne.
Police say a man returned to his home on Kensington Street at about ten o’clock last night and found the 15-and-16-year-olds in his kitchen.
The pair ran off with some goods from the house, but were arrested by police a short time later, and charged with break and enter.
Officers are also investigating another breakin in Colborne. The front door of a business on King Street was forced open at 4-30 this morning, and the suspects took cigarettes and the cash register.
