Northumberland-Quinte West M-P Rick Norlock will use the proroguement of Parliament to get feedback on what his constituents want.
Norlock, who supports the Governor General’s decision to shut down Parliament until the government can present a budget late next month, says he’ll be listening to what local residents have to say.
He would prefer written suggestions from Chambers of Commerce, Manufacturers, small business organizations and other agencies.
Norlock also criticized the Liberals and New Democrats, who want to form a coalition government, saying there is no way they could have come up with a budget quickly enough to have helped the country’s economy.
