There could still be a chance the Murphy-Walsh report will be included in a provincial reviewer’s study of Quinte Healthcare’s finances.
Q-H-C officials understood an email from the Southeast LHIN earlier this week indicated the report, which is supposed to help cut costs at the four hospitals, would not be part of the examination of the money situation.
However, further discussions with the LHIN have revealed that was only C-E-O Paul Huras’s preference, and no final decision has been made.
Quinte Healthcare official Susan Rowe says Murphy Walsh will be discussed when officials from Q-H-C and the LHIN meet on tuesday.
