Hastings County officials are working to resolve a “Human Resources” issue at the provincial offences court. Our newsroom has learned that three or four workers walked off the job a couple of weeks ago on stress leave, and have been put in temproary jobs. Administrator Jim Pine says he is unable to comment much on the matter since it is Human Resources related and he is working on resolving the issue.. Hastings County administers the provincial offences court on behalf of the three municipalities, Belleville, Quinte West, and Hastings County.
