A tentative contract agreement has been reached between the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, and management at Community Living Quinte West.
Conciliation talks yesterday produced an agreement. The union holds a ratification vote next week.
Wages were not an issue, but the union had been asking for improved benefits. The new contract, if ratified would expire in March of 2010.
Community Living has about 50 staff providing services for over 70 people with developmental handicaps.
