The Tweed community’s support of Canada’s troops as they head for Afghanistan has been recognized in the House of Commons. Prince Edward-Hastings M-P Daryl Kramp told the House today (yesterday) about the village citizens, school children, and officials. He said they welcome the bus loads of soldiers as they travel through Tweed on their way to C-F-B Trenton for their departure overseas. Kramp said he wished to “commend them for their passion and support.”
