A Warkworth-area man has been charged in connection with the seizure of stolen jewellery and other items.
Peterborough County O-P-P arrested 34-year-old Jason Pearn northeast of Lakefield at three o’clock this morning after two men abandoned a pickup truck officers tried to pull over, but the other suspect escaped.
Besides the jewellery, police seized tools, liquor and electronics in the vehicle..
Pearn, who was charged with possession of stolen property, will appear in court on December 18th.
