A 23-year old Trenton man is in custody afer a high speed chase through Belleville overnight. City Police spotted a truck travelling at a high rate of speed run the redlight at Sidney and West Moira Streets just after 3am.
A pursuit was initiated but quickly terminated. Officers continued on found the truck abandoned near Montrose Road. Officers arrested a suspect a short distance away.
It was learned the truck was stolen from an east-end business and that business had also been broken into. A second suspect escaped.
