Ontario rural affairs critic for the conservatives, Randy Hillier, is setting up a special committee to hear the views of people out in the countryside.
Hillier, the MPP from Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, says the McGuinty government is governing for only urban Ontario, leaving rural residents out in the cold.
Hillier will chair what’s known as the Partners with Rural Ontario team, which consists of 5 Conservative MPP’s. They will begin meetings across the province, starting in Belleville, in December.
