Enrollment at Loyalist College is up over last year. The college’s board of governors heard that 3 thousand and 27 full time students started class back in September, 2 percent more then last year. The enrollment increase was more pronounced for the Continuing Education department, at over 5 percent more.
Meanwhile, Loyalist’s Board will ask the province to approve funding for 2 new courses next year. One is a 1 year program called Arts and Design Foundation. The other is a 3 year advanced program for on-line print and broadcast journalism.
