Traffic on Highway 401 east was disrupted overnight after a tractor trailer caught fire near Colborne.
According to Today’s Northumberland, flames fully engulfed the trailer of the truck on Hwy 401 east just east of Colborne around 1 o’clock Tuesday morning.
The driver managed to separate the cab from the trailer and there were no injuries.
Traffic was down to one lane in the area of the fire for a few hours.
