The Quinte West Fire Department responded to a boat fire at a boat launch in Trenton about 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
A neighbour called in to report a fire at the boat launch on Baptiste and Ontario streets. Platoon one and two from the Quinte West Fire Department arrived to fully engulfed flames coming from the boat.
Around 10 a.m. the fire was put out. The OPP are investigating what caused the fire. There were no injuries but there was severe damage to the boat.
