The eastbound lanes of the 4-0-1 near Port Hope have finally reopened in West Northumberland.
Traffic was detoured until about 8-30 this morning after a tractor trailer crashed late yesterday afternoon, spilling about 300 litres of fuel and its load of steel pipes onto to the highway.
The Ministry of Environment was called in to assist with the cleanup. Northumberland O-P-P say the driver of the tractor trailer sustained minor injuries.
