The first week wraps up Friday for the new Eastside Secondary School.
Just shy of 1,000 students call the former Moira Secondary School home.
The high school combined Moira, and about two thirds of the students from Quinte Secondary.
Eastside Principal Ken Manderville joined the Mix morning crew on Friday.
He says students and staff have been adapting well.
The school also acts as a hub for numerous buses, where students transfer to other buses, heading to different schools.
