The Prince Edward County Winegrowers Association has suspended the Norman Hardie Winery’s membership following a scathing report in the Globe and Mail.
The announcement from the Association states they support progressive and safe environments for employees, customers and management and they encourage all members and their staff to adhere to the highest progessional and moral standards.
The organization says they are consulting experts and industry partners about how to best support employees in their industry.
The Winery Association also stated they are sorry to hear about the victims’ experiences and applaud their courage in coming forward.
