The second annual Peter Smith Memorial Charity Golf Tournament was a success.
Friends and family of the late Peter Smith gathered at Black Bear Ridge on Thursday, raising $45,000 for The Children’s Foundation.
The funds will support the “Reach for Success” program where youth are given financial support to take life-skills courses and pursue post-secondary education to promote independence, financial stability, and resilience.
Smith, who owned the General Motors dealership in Belleville for several years until his passing in 2019, had a long relationship with The Children’s Foundation and was a former Guardian Angel.
