A man in distress was rescued on an ice floe in the Trent River early last night.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says there was a great team effort between Trenton fire firefighters, Quinte West OPP, and EMS paramedics.
The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening .
