We have more detail about a serious accident in Wellington in the supper hour yesterday.
Prince Edward County OPP report a 76 year old Wellington man walking on Main Street was hit
by a pickup truck at around 5:30.
The man was taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 63 year old Trenton man, was not injured.
The OPP continue an investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Meanwhile, at about the same time yesterday, Prince Edward County firefighters, OPP and paramedics were responding to a possible drug overdose in Picton.
