The Hastings Prince Edward School Board has a balanced budget, but it was close.
This week, staff told the trustees they were able to get to just over $3000 in the black.
Superintendent of Business Nick Pfeiffer says it is a robust budget.
Trustees approved the budget, which sits just over $201 million.
