Quinte Health Care has had recent success in recruiting doctors to its four local hospitals.
In Bancroft Tuesday afternoon, board members were updated on the numbers of new doctors coming into one of the four hospitals (Belleville, Trenton, Picton or Bancroft locations).
Five physicians for Belleville and Trenton are coming, along with three others for the BGH Emergency Room, a third medical oncologist and a sixth orthopedic surgeon are on the way.
Also there are six internal medicine positions open and officials says there are 13 candidates interested.
