The Belleville Police service responded to 55 calls for service January 28, 2019 at 5 a.m. and January 29 at 5 a.m.
Theft
On January 28, 2019 at 8:12 p.m., officers attended at a business on Bell Blvd. in regards to a shoplifter. A female was observed selecting a number of items, but then only paying for half of them. She was apprehended by store security and then police arrived to continue the arrest. As a result Alicia Palmer, a 36-year-old female from Belleville was charged with Theft Under $5000 and Breach of Probation. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of February 21, 2019.
