It’ll be very cool…and possibly wet for the annual day that students have self-proclaimed to be “beach day”!! High schools in the Quinte region should be quite quiet today….but, Sandbanks Provincial Park beach will probably be jammed with young people enjoying a day of fun…..AND skipped classes. Prince Edward OPP are well aware of beach day, and there will be extra police patrols in the County, and some RIDE programs as well. OPP say there will be zero tolerance for speeding and drinking infractions.
